With a total of 5 medals won at the Olympic Winter Games PyeongChang 2018, Team GB has delivered its best performance in the history of the games, beating its previous record of 4 medals won at Chamonix 1924 and Sochi 2014.

The record-breaking result came courtesy of the skeleton athletes, who between them amassed one gold and two bronze medals, with the women’s skeleton champion defending her title from Sochi 2014. The women’s slopestyle competition garnered a further bronze medal, and a thrilling final of the inaugural men’s snowboard big air earned Team GB its last medal, a fourth bronze.

With these results Team GB has finished its most successful Olympic Winter Games ranked 19 on the overall medal table, leaving us with countless moments excitement, of nail-biting races, and hard-won victories, and inspiring us to chase our dream - despite the cold and snow - no matter what!
